AT LAST. :mwahaha: I HAVE COMPLETED A PICTURE AND MADE IT WORTH LOOKING AT.

:iconohjoyplz: I'm quite ecstatic right now. Out of every picture I have ever drawn and bothered to color, I think this is my greatest yet. xD Which, to me, is really saying something.

I've been working on this off and on for a couple of weeks now. xD It started out as a boredom doodle I did in my Desktop Publishing class with my tablet. Boredom then led me to do all of this. xD Personally, I love it. xD;;; I don't have high expectations for myself.

Anyway, this is one of my newest characters, Camille. :3
She doesn't have a story yet, but I'm working on it. Suggestions are always more than welcome. xD
...Along with a species. xD; Lately, all I seem to draw are cats. xD;; So, Camille could be a feline of some sort, but if you guys have any better suggestions that wouldn't involve any major changes to her, I'd love to hear them. xD;;

...You know, I never thought I'd use that shade of green on a character. xD;;; Just about every color put into this picture was chosen at random. :F

Also, seeing as I was all entertained, I made three other versions of this picture. xD; Pick your favorite! xD

[link] And I just love to look at pictures that have been shaded, before the color and stuff is on them. xD That's pretty much what I did here. x3

Anyway, yeah. I quite like this picture. x3
...Even if I did abuse the dodge tool when I was toying with her name. xD;;; I just couldn't leave it all empty.

So, hope you guys enjoy! This is kinda like making up for not having posted anything in FUCKING FOREVER. :D

Oooh, very nice! I love the fur, and the shininess of the hair.

As for species . . . she kind of makes me think of a lynx. [link]

I wanna say...a bobcat, but I don't know if her fur has the right pattern.

And her hairstyle is awesome. x3 Love the hidden eye look. And so colorful. <3

Thank you! x3 I argued with myself for a while before I actually decided that I liked the way her hair looked. xD;

Oooh, I don't have any lynx characters. o3o I'll definitely take it into consideration. <33 Though the one thing that might bug me a little would be the drastic shortening and de-fluffing of her tail. xD;; But aside from that, I'll keep it in mind. <:

True, fur patterns would be an issue. o3o; And so would the tail. xD;; But I'll keep it in mind, too. x3

Yayyy! x3 At first, I thought, "Oh, her hair is so overused. :C", but I used it anyway. xD; And that was only 'cause I didn't want to draw her other eye. :F

The tail rules out quite a few felines. xD

But if you're willing to change the tail, and maybe fur patterns, try being unique, and making her a sand cat, or fishing cat.

I can't really descibe in words but she is a great char. i like her alit. you drew her very well. and the coloring is so good. I wish i could learn to color like that.

In all honesty, the coloring is probably one of the easier parts of the picture. ^^; I think what gave me the hardest time was the shading and highlighing. Really, the main thing that you need is time. o3o And patience. ...And either boredom or determination. xD; I had a little of both. :F
